Acer Revo Os X Install there. Creative SB X-Fi Drivers do not work. No ponit having windows 10 if your going to having to pay out more cash on another sound card have installed windows 10 3 times. Jul 04, 2015 Dear Creative, Windows 10 is around the corner and not even a beta driver for sound blaster for the insider progam (in my case sound blaster Z).

I see it is now 'Early July 2015'. Being halfway through June already this makes sense. I really miss my SoundBlaster Z.

I am saddened that Microsoft felt they needed to change their audio stack again, like during the transition from XP to Vista. Does any of this improve performance in games or audio quality? Seems odd that they decided to do this literally only a handful of builds before Windows 10 goes RTM. Creative, if you can, release beta drivers as soon as possible I am willing to test out! Not rain on your parade, but it was an absolute nightmare when Microsoft released XP and years later, Vista. Sure there were drivers for my hardware, but all of the drivers were 'functional' at best.

I would say it was nine months to a year before my system was running at peak performance and it really took until service pack 1 was released that XP became a viable operating system. Vista was never fixed in my opinion to run as well as Windows 7. The switch to Windows 10, or Windows 8.2, straight up disturbs me. Many people, not specifically you, are upset about drivers. I understand and empathize, but until the final version/GOLD is released I will not be switching.

The next release could either fix or break more functionality in the operating system. Which version does Creative code for?

The build before 10130 worked, 10130 fails. It is an awful conundrum. Well happy to see that my XFi Titanium Fatal1ty is on the list - considering the card has been around for many years. I have run it on all the preview builds of 10 with no particular issues.

How To Install S7 Plcsim On Windows 7. Whenever I install a new build I always get a situation where the Console Launcher will no longer see the card in my system but un-installing the software and then re-installing Daniel_k's Support Pack always fixes the issue. The only thing that I could call an issue is that if I have headphones attached and have the 'Automatically Mute Speakers' option ticked - when the system resumes from standby the audio will play through speakers anyway. Need to go to the option and cycle it to turn the speakers off.

Not a big deal. The UI could do with an update as well for the CCL - might look into doing that myself.
