Dst Patch Windows 2008
Okay, its fixed. The above update was already installed. The time was an hour off and showed that DST didn't start until April 4th. I removed the above update (979306) and the computer then showed the correct time and that we were already in DST and it ended Nov 7th(which is correct). I went ahead and reapplied the update and it is still correct. I think it never installed correctly or it didn't like being installed after SP2 (or installing SP2 broke it) Thanks to all that replied. I am going to flag one post was BA.

You can manually change the dst configuration. Remember when the 2008 DST date changed and Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 2000. As an admin of Windows 2000 servers, I had to manually update the DST rules with the TZedit.exe utility. I don't currently have Windows 2008 to test with, but you probably can use the TZedit.exe utility to update the DST rules.
