I felt like wasting NX and bought 3 Pets (mainly for auto buff) and they also had looting. What I'm noticing is that when I'm grinding in KC1/A2 with a Kanna (happens without too but not as heavy as with one) - and the auto-loot is on it's insanely laggy. Record was at like 0.15fps.

I pay around 27k for 3 Pets + 18k for expired items (Which doesn't seem to work when I'm in a party well even without one. I mainly bought that because I thought that the loot of my top attacker in KC1 was causing the lag because she didn't have a pet with looting). So that's like 45k I spent on a beneficial ingame object which makes the game unplayable.

But there's a plot! When I turn auto-loot off it's fine. Like totally fine. What the heck? I pay money to get a benefit that I don't need to loot myself (which is frustating slow) - and I can't play when it's on. So is there any way to fix it?

Pet is designed to loot whether your inventory is full or not, nexon didn't have a logic in place for pet to determine if the players inventory is full. If it is it will keep attempting to loot until the player clears up an space for it. Think it as if every loot attempt made is your pet sending a packet with the loot command to the nexon server, with a lot of items unpicked on the ground the pet will send a lot of these packets and lag out your Internet as it is sending the command for the old unpicked items and newly dropped items.

That is why the op is getting lag and the reason he stop lagging when loot is off as the pet stop issuing those pickup commands to the server. With ignore skill, the pet ignores those items on your list, it will not send the loot command packet to nexon, so the pet will not send as many loot request and won't clog up the Internet hence he'll stop lagging.
